Job Description
Join the CSS Global Outsourcing Group and lead Microsoft’s efforts to dramatically improve customer satisfaction with support and maximize cost efficiency. The Vendor Account Manager position supporting Latin America Consumer and Commercial Technical Support business within the Global Outsourcing Group will leverage your proven global outsourcing experience, thought leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation skills and your focus on the customer. This role will partner with the LatAm Service Delivery organizations to drive results that support the product group and CSS business objectives that include driving customer satisfaction, cost efficiency and consistent service delivery.
Responsibilities for this position include but not limited to: Business Strategy Development - execute outsourcing solutions/strategies for owned Lines of Business (LOBs). Participate in aggressive budgeting process for owned LOBs. Integrate outsourcing budget (vendor spend) inputs. Assist Service Delivery in developing creative strategies for risk-sharing between MS and Outsource partners on new investments. Business Execution - drive high quality vendor execution against business plans for owned LOBs. Ensure contract requirements compliance by vendors as assigned. Implement documented root cause corrective action for areas of contractual non-compliance and for operational performance. Stay within budget guidelines. Manage projects, escalations and cross-LOB initiatives. Basic activities include: Ensure completeness and accuracy of pricing models in a changing environment and coordinate forecasting activity. Work with the appropriate vendor contacts and LCA teams to ensure contractual documentation is complete - includes Statements of Work, Amendments, Vendor Service Agreements. Perform analysis of pricing to understand and communicate business impact. Drive Strategic Business Reviews with Global Outsourcing and Service Delivery teams. Develop and leverage relationships with internal partners and vendors at all levels to achieve business goals. Evangelize Microsoft to external audiences. Vendor Strategy - serve as the outsourcing expert for internal business partners for current and emerging BPO markets. Thoroughly understand market conditions across BPO markets in both LCLMs and HCLMs(High Cost Labor Markets) and project future outsourcing/BPO market directions to form 1-5 year outsourcing strategies that influence and support LOB and CSS strategies.
